For example, a plate may be easy to read when the vehicle is close, centered, and well-lit, but difficult to read if the vehicle is far away, moving quickly, at an angle, or affected by headlights or windshield glare.

Understand real-world capture limits

License plates are easier to read when the vehicle is close, centered, and moving at a similar speed. Plates may be harder to read when the vehicle is far away, at a sharp angle, moving quickly, or affected by glare, headlights, shadows, rain, or dirty glass.
