Why does this error happen?

If your ROVE dash cam displays a “Memory Card Too Slow” message, it usually means the memory card can no longer maintain the required write speed for continuous video recording.

Memory cards have a limited lifespan. Over time, repeated recording and overwriting may cause the card to slow down, develop bad sectors, or become corrupted.

In most cases, this warning means your dash cam is functioning properly and is simply alerting you that the memory card may need maintenance or replacement.
