Receiving “Memory Card Too Slow” Error

Please note that all memory cards have a finite life span. So they may become corrupted or develop issues/bad sectors, especially with regular use.

The ROVE dash camera has a fail-safe feature that alerts you if there is any issue with the memory card so you can take action to resolve it. As you are seeing the "Memory card too slow" message, this means there is no issue with the camera unit.

If your camera states that the memory card speed is too slow, then it appears that your memory card may have been defective, damaged, or at the end of the life cycle.

To resolve this issue easily, we recommend the use of a memory card with Class 10 & U3 speed capability to work optimally with the ROVE dash cam. You can consider buying a ROVE Ultimate Memory card, which is specifically designed to work seamlessly with dash cameras, or an Amazon Basics Card, which can be a more affordable option.

1. Amazon Basics Memory Card: (GENERIC OPTION | Less expensive - but Average Read/Write Speed 100/60 Mbps Option)

2. ROVE Ultimate Memory Card: (PREMIUM OPTION | Slightly more expensive - but Faster Read/Write Speed 170/100 Mbps Option)

By replacing the memory card with either of these options, the issue should be resolved immediately.

We hope this clarifies the issue. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any further questions or concerns.
