R3: Rear Camera not detected / not recordingUpdated a year ago
First, please make sure that the cables are plugged into their appropriate ports.
The power cable should be plugged into the mount behind the camera. The rear camera cable should be plugged into the top of the camera, as shown in the image below
If the rear camera still does not show up, go to the video settings of the dash cam by clicking on the gear icon on the menu page that pops up when you touch the screen once
In the video setting, please select VIDEO RESOLUTION and check if it was set to the "Front + Cabin + Rear" option. >> If not yet set, please select it. >> Then select either the recommended 1440P + 1080P + 1080P @ 30 FPS Or, 1080P + 1080P + 1080P @30FPS and see if it makes a difference
Lastly, check the rear cam cable and rear camera ports are snug fit and that there are no noticeable gaps between them.
