ROVE Dash Cam Video Transfer Guide

How to Transfer Video Files From Your ROVE Dash Cam

You can transfer videos from your ROVE dash cam to a computer or smartphone using three simple methods: direct USB connection, a memory card reader, or the ROVE App through WiFi.

✅ Fastest option for large files: Use a computer or memory card reader.
💻
Direct USB transfer
Connect the dash cam to your Mac or PC using the included short USB data cable.
💾
Memory card reader
Remove the microSD card and insert it into a computer card reader or microSD adapter.
📱
ROVE App WiFi
Download videos to your smartphone through the ROVE App using dash cam WiFi.
Before you begin

Check both regular and protected video folders

Normal recordings are usually stored in the Videos folder. Emergency locked or protected recordings may be stored in a separate folder named RO or Protect.

If you are looking for a specific incident, make sure to check both locations before assuming the video is missing.

⚠️ Important: Always copy videos to your computer or phone first before deleting files or formatting the memory card.
